Step into the charming atmosphere of Number 8, where history meets luxury. An ex-wine merchants home built 150 years ago, we have spent 2 years bringing this beautiful house into the 21st century without losing its essential Burgundy character.
The property is a standalone house around a courtyard in classic Meursault style. We live in a neighbouring property so you are guaranteed great service but with the assurance of peace & privacy.
Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own style & character but all have the modern amenities of air-conditioning & designer bathrooms. All this together with the finest linens & towels together with a full complimentary breakfast makes Number 8 the perfect place for your French wine holiday or break.
When we are not using Number 8 for wine tours and group bookings, we open up for Bed & Breakfast. Dates are released on an ongoing basis and we keep the calendar up to date on Booking.com. However you will always get better rates if you come back to us and book direct!

We specialise in creating bespoke wine tours that suit your needs. We have access to vineyards that are not normally open to the public & as wine merchants and ex-vineyard owners ourselves can provide you with unparalleled insight into the Burgundy wine region.
We can accompany you for a fully guided experience or simply help you plan your trip and point you in the right direction.

We have a range of options for you from just watching a chef in action cooking a gourmet meal for you to a hands on gastronomic cookery lesson including a trip to the market to hand pick your ingredients.

Whether you are an experienced cyclist or a bit of a Sunday morning wanderer, touring and wine tasting by bike (electric if you want!) is a fabulous way to see Burgundy.
Either a gentle roll along the valley floor through the villages of Puligny Montrachet & Pommard or a more exacting trip up to the villages of St Romain & Nuits St Georges we can organise your itinerary & of course provide the bikes to do it with. Electric off road scooters are also a blast for the young at heart!
